Network Device Monitoring
Monitor Routers, Switches &
Firewalls With SNMP
StatusEagle monitors your network devices using ICMP ping for reachability and SNMP for deep hardware metrics. Track CPU load, memory usage, and online status for Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, Fortinet, and generic SNMP devices.
ICMP Ping + SNMP Polling in One Monitor
-
ICMP ping for online/offline status
Every check sends an ICMP ping to your device's IP address and measures round-trip latency. Instant alerting when a device stops responding.
-
SNMP polling for CPU and memory metrics
Enable SNMP to pull real-time CPU usage and memory usage directly from your device. Set thresholds and get alerted when resources are under pressure.
-
Vendor-specific SNMP OIDs
StatusEagle uses the correct OIDs for each vendor — Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, and Fortinet. Select your vendor and we handle the rest automatically.
-
SNMP v1, v2c, and v3 support
Works with all SNMP versions. Configure your community string for v1/v2c, or set up SNMPv3 with username, auth password, and privacy password for secure polling.
-
Device type classification
Label each device as a router, switch, firewall, access point, or server so your dashboard stays organised as your infrastructure grows.
-
Multi-channel alerts
Get notified via email, SMS, Slack, Telegram, or webhook when a device goes offline or CPU/memory thresholds are breached.

Supported Vendors & Device Types
StatusEagle supports vendor-specific SNMP OIDs for accurate CPU and memory readings across all major network hardware brands.
Cisco
Routers, switches, and ASA firewalls. Uses Cisco-specific OIDs for precise CPU and memory metrics from IOS and NX-OS devices.
Juniper
EX switches, SRX firewalls, and MX routers. Polls Juniper enterprise MIBs for routing engine CPU and memory stats.
MikroTik
RouterOS devices including CCR, RB, and hAP series. Reads MikroTik-specific OIDs for accurate CPU and total/free memory reporting.
Fortinet
FortiGate firewalls and FortiSwitch devices. Uses FortiNet enterprise MIBs for CPU processor load and memory usage metrics.
Generic SNMP
Any SNMP-capable device. StatusEagle probes standard HOST-RESOURCES-MIB and UCD-SNMP-MIB OIDs, with automatic fallback to find the right metrics.
Servers & Hosts
Linux and Windows servers with SNMP enabled. Monitor application servers, database hosts, and virtualisation hypervisors alongside your network gear.
Set Up Network Monitoring in Minutes
Add your device
Enter the IP address of your router, switch, firewall, or server. Select the device type and your preferred check interval.
Configure SNMP (optional)
Enable SNMP, select your vendor, choose v1/v2c or v3, and enter your community string or credentials. Set CPU and memory alert thresholds.
Get alerted instantly
Receive alerts when the device goes offline, latency spikes, or CPU/memory breaches your defined threshold — via email, Slack, Telegram, or webhook.
Metrics Collected on Every Check
ICMP ping confirms whether the device is online or offline
Round-trip time in milliseconds measured per check
Processor load polled via SNMP with configurable alert threshold
