Introducing User Experience Monitoring: See How Real Visitors Experience Your Site
Uptime monitoring answers one question: did the server respond? It doesn't tell you whether a real visitor's page actually loaded fast, rendered cleanly, or threw an error somewhere along the way. That's the gap User Experience Monitoring (UXM) closes — and as of today it covers a lot more than just visitor counts.
Why uptime alone isn't the whole picture
A synthetic check from a datacenter tells you the server is reachable. It says nothing about what happens on a real visitor's slow connection, older phone, or flaky network — the exact conditions where things quietly go wrong. UXM measures directly from real visitor browsers, so you see what they actually experienced, not just what a health check assumed.
What's live today
- Live visitor & page view tracking — unique visitors and page views, updated in real time, with a live count badge right on your monitor listing.
- Core Web Vitals — LCP, CLS, INP, and FCP measured on real visitor devices, not synthetic checks.
- JavaScript & HTTP error tracking — uncaught exceptions and failed fetch/XHR requests captured with stack traces, straight from real browsers.
Turning it on takes one checkbox
There's no separate setup flow. When you add (or edit) a Website monitor, check "Enable User Experience Monitoring (UXM)" — right next to the existing SSL Check and Domain Check options. StatusEagle generates a site key and a single snippet for that monitor.
Paste the one-line <script> tag into your site's HTML — no build step, no cookie banner required — and visitors, vitals, and errors start landing in your dashboard immediately.
What this looks like in practice
Say you ship a deploy and, a day later, your Largest Contentful Paint quietly creeps from 1.8s to 4s on your pricing page. A synthetic uptime check would never catch that — the page still returns 200 OK. With UXM, you'd see the LCP regression directly, tied to the exact page, and could catch it before it costs you conversions. Same story for a JS error that only fires for users on a specific browser: uptime monitoring is blind to it; UXM shows you the stack trace and which page it's happening on.
What's next
Visitor tracking, Core Web Vitals, and error tracking are live today. We're building further: geographic breakdown, device/browser breakdown, referrer tracking, and a full live-visitor dashboard — so you get an even fuller picture of who's visiting and how they're experiencing your site.

Enabling UXM takes under a minute and works alongside every monitor you already have. Start free and check the box on your next Website monitor, or read more on the User Experience Monitoring page.
